Down that quiet country road, deep in the woods, there is a whispering in the trees and an awakening has occurred. Muriel and Albert have found their new home having been homeless for a number of years now. No longer will they be forgotten, or at least that is their hope.
The whispers have brought them to a new place in the woods and they admire the sign that tells them they are home.
Albert is slightly baffled though... the fireplace seems to be on the wrong side of the room
You may recall...
The chimney is on the outside wall,
and yet the fireplace is on the inside wall with a chimney breast going up on the inside. How can this be? Who knows apart from the whispers ... He shrugs his shoulders and thinks to himself, it is summer, no need to worry just yet.
In the kitchen, Muriel is already hard at work, wringing out the washed linens for their new home in her mangle that works just fine.
