No whispers today, but instead there is the sweet sound of humming coming from Thyme Cottage as Muriel goes about her business...
She really is most cheerful today
She has the most pretty towel hanging on the newly installed towel rail that has green accents to match the other bathroom furniture.
Is that a reflection we can see in the mirror?
It cheers her to see Albert's shaver on the washstand. It seems he is home to stay at along last.
Yes it really is a good thing she sighs to herself and continues her humming as she makes her way downstairs.
She continues with tuneful humming whilst she gives the floor a going over with her trusty carpet sweeper.
Soon it will be time to sit down for a cup of tea.
Meanwhile in the kitchen.... beware little mouse, don't let the whispers draw you in.
Love that you have a story about your dolls house I feel it brings them to life to imagine who lives there and how they go about there day

DeleteLovely little towel on that rack! I noticed it right away! And that mouse is cute! I remember carpet sweepers.... such an efficient method of cleaning small messes! And not too noisy! I am glad Muriel is humming now! :)
ReplyDeleteThe little towel was a bonus in a little bag that had the metal shaver in it that I really wanted. Cost me all of 50p for a towel, shaver and pillow I think it was. Yes carpet sweepers were handy little things weren't they? Nice and quiet too.
